Project Description

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (Metro) Management Audit Services department (MAS) is requesting the services of a contractor with experience in conducting performance or operational audits or reviews of major construction projects. The scope will include review of transit and infrastructure construction project management and requirements of full funding grant agreements (FFGAs) with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of the US Department of Transportation

LACMTA will hold a Virtual Pre-Proposal Conference. Proposers are invited to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference. Attendance is not mandatory to be considered for award of a contract; however, when a Pre-Proposal Conference is held, attendance is an essential part of Good Faith Efforts.

Proposals in response to this solicitation shall be submitted in one of two ways, either (1) sealed envelopes by mail or hand delivered to the address below, or (2) electronically via email to bids@metro.net. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.

Submission Instructions

Time of receipt is determined by the date/time stamp imprinted upon the Proposal package by the date/time recorder at the 9th floor procurement reception desk or by the email system. It is recommended that proposers send their email(s) allowing for sufficient time to ensure that the proposer can meet the proposal due date. Additionally, it is recommended that proposer’s email(s) are sent with a Delivery and Read receipt for their records. Lastly, proposers should send a verification email to the named Contract Administrator of the RFP after the email submission(s) of proposal to bids@metro.net. The verification email should indicate that a proposal has been submitted by Vendor Name for RFP# on X number of emails.
