Business Description/Products/Services:
Founded in 1972, AADAP (Asian American Drug Abuse Program) has grown from an Asian American–founded initiative into a vital, inclusive, community-based resource across South Los Angeles and beyond. AADAP empowers individuals, families to achieve recovery, opportunity and justice by addressing substance use and strengthening community conditions that promote well-being. AADAP’s Economic and Workforce Advancement programs support individuals, families, and businesses to secure employment for self-sufficiency and long-term economic well-being. Through career counseling, job readiness training, financial coaching, and small business development, AADAP equips participants with the skills and confidence to achieve lasting mobility and success. Partnerships with employers, training institutions and local enterprises expand access to meaningful opportunities that promote dignity, stability and growth. This work embodies AADAP’s belief that recovery and wellness are sustained not only through treatment but through workforce opportunity and economic empowerment.
