The National Association of Women in AI (NAWAI) is a national initiative focused on helping professionals understand and apply artificial intelligence in the workplace and in business. NAWAI was co-founded by LaVada English and Melissa Northway, two nationally recognized leaders with more than two decades of experience each in leadership development, financial strategy, and professional education. While the organization itself is newly established, it builds on the existing work of Bright Places Incorporated, a leadership and learning development firm founded in 2018. With the accelerating demand for AI workforce readiness programs, NAWAI is positioned to deliver scalable education programs, partnerships, and large-scale training initiatives that support organizations, entrepreneurs, and professionals preparing for the future of work.
