We are a traditional Coin-operated laundromat. We offer self-service laundry for those wanting to wash their own clothes and also offer Wash & Fold services for those that want to have their laundry done for them. We also provide a pick-up/delivery service for Wash & Fold which is still in its early stages but looks to be a larger part of our business in the future. Most of our customers are from within the neighborhood and are predominantly people of color with a range of ethnicities from Latinx, African-American, Israeli, Armenian, Russian, Persian, and Asian. The point of differentiation between our laundromat versus other laundromats lies within our staff. Not only are they fully capable of doing their assigned responsibilities, but they are residents of the neighborhood (as am I), and our laundromat is not just a place to come wash your clothes, but it's a social meeting point for many folks in the community. Our staff knows about 90% of the patrons that come in by their first name and if they don't, they are probably tourists/visitors just passing through doing a wash because we have a great Yelp rating. Additionally, our staff is as diverse as our community. At one point we had one Asian/Pacific Islander (myself), one Latina, one African-American, and one Arab-American all on staff at the same time. We are not the best laundromat when it comes to size and equipment, but I would like to think that we are one of the most personable, helpful, and caring laundromats making the customer experience really enjoyable.
